FIFA 11 shooting tips

In this post I plan on sharing some shooting tips that I have used that work pretty well and increase goals scored.

First things first there are 2 types of shots the finesse shot which is used by holding the RB button (xbox360) what this shot does is place the shot in a specific area while using spin to curl it around the goalie. The next shot is the regular driven shot which is just using the shoot button. The finesse shot is a great way to score goals the accuracy of the shot is higher than the driven shot, because when the finesse shot is used the ball curls from the player kicking the ball with the inside of the foot make sure to position your player for that inside foot shot. The finesse shot works great from anywhere inside the box and even to about the 24 yard mark when positioned correctly.

As for the driven shot, it can too be used inside the box but because it doesn't curve of it's shot at an angle the goalie will probably block it. It's a great shot when you are coming straight on with the goalie. This shot can be taken anywhere on the pitch but will not always be accurate. Definatley the shot of choice when going for a long devastating screamer.

Last tip on shooting that I found is that when your within 30 yards of the goal if you stop sprinting and jog or use pace control while shooting your shots will become even more devastating.
