Alright well i just finished listening to the new podcast on EA sports talking about Ultimate team and it sounds like its going to surpass the last one for all of those who played Ultimate Team 10. As most of you know it comes out on Wednesday the 3rd and will be a free download. I will talk about some of the new features that will be in the mode in this post.
Lets see first off the new Ultimate team will have the play a friend mode so it will be easier to play friends. There are going to more packs and some new kinds of packs that they incorporate. As well as new team of the week cards every week and something new that they have added to the teams of the week are that when you get an in form player they will look different than the normal player so that you can easily tell the difference between the two when you get them or see them in the auction house. They also fixed a few things like when you play in a tournament and if your opponent quits then you will get the win and advance in the tournament. They have also added new players from some added leagues that they did not have in FUT 10. some league players they have added are from the MLS and Russian leagues i think a few more but cannot remember.
There are a couple things that you can now do on the web on the easports ultimate team website like buy and sell cards and manage teams. But if you read this blog before UT 11 comes out and you go to the UT website they are giving away daily prizes to everyone that logs in and checks out their team. Plus if you are a returning UT player from Fifa 10 then they start you off with 2 free gold packs that help you get started building your ultimate team. FIFA 11 virtual pro clubs
As we all know FIFA 11 has continued the virtual pro game mode like FIFA 10 there are a few modifications and added features that I will go over along with some tips and strategies that you guys can use when playing online club matches. If you guys want me to reveal some easy ways to level up pros just follow us and send us a message we will be glad to help out.
First to start out I'll talk about some new features. We all know about the new goalkeeper mode so I'll stay away from that. So the customization for your pro is much more in depth each position has about 3 different playing styles that alter your pros attributes. There is also about 500 or so accomplishments. Once you get your pros better and want to play online clubs with your friends there are some new features that will make clubs more exciting. First there is a new tournament mode which my club and I have one... Not bragging but it can be pretty fun once you get to that final and the fate of the game rides on a computer taking PK's. The servers seen to be fixed so it's much easier to find matches and you can also start playing with only 2 players instead of the 3 you needed on 10. Let's see there are some things to keep in mind when your playing other clubs especially if they try to use custom formations against you. Ea made it a little tougher to use custom formations so people just use 5 backs.
First way to beat these tough defenses is utilize the one-two pass which I talked about in another post. These create great break sways chances and goals. Next thing that I noticed is that other clubs just try and maul you and the computer once you get the ball so be ready to pass or skill move it up like us because they will be coming. FIFA 11 shooting tips
In this post I plan on sharing some shooting tips that I have used that work pretty well and increase goals scored.
First things first there are 2 types of shots the finesse shot which is used by holding the RB button (xbox360) what this shot does is place the shot in a specific area while using spin to curl it around the goalie. The next shot is the regular driven shot which is just using the shoot button. The finesse shot is a great way to score goals the accuracy of the shot is higher than the driven shot, because when the finesse shot is used the ball curls from the player kicking the ball with the inside of the foot make sure to position your player for that inside foot shot. The finesse shot works great from anywhere inside the box and even to about the 24 yard mark when positioned correctly.
As for the driven shot, it can too be used inside the box but because it doesn't curve of it's shot at an angle the goalie will probably block it. It's a great shot when you are coming straight on with the goalie. This shot can be taken anywhere on the pitch but will not always be accurate. Definatley the shot of choice when going for a long devastating screamer.
Last tip on shooting that I found is that when your within 30 yards of the goal if you stop sprinting and jog or use pace control while shooting your shots will become even more devastating. Fifa 11 online head to head gameplay tips
With many more people playing Fifa 11 this year, there is also going to be much more rookies just starting out and learning how to play and win games while playing online. Since many people play Fifa 11 online so that they can compete against other online gamers this post is going to talk about some quick and easy offensive attacking tips on how to efficiently pass, score goals, and win in online head to head matches. Please keep in mind that I play Fifa 11 on the Xbox 930 I might reference some of the Xbox 360 controls. Although these tips and strategies are not guaranteed to win every game they will definitely improve your skills and give you chances to score goals and win matches.
Starting with how to pick your team. Most of the time I play a head to head match online my opponent usually chooses the usual Real Madrid, Barcelona, Man U, Brazil. When you play someone that chooses these teams you should also select a high caliber team so that your players can stack up against your opponents, there are plenty of other teams that can easily match up and win against these giants.
Secondly, once in the game passing is key, unless you are amazing at Fifa already you simply cannot just pass the ball to a single player and have him run it down the field and score goals. When it comes to passing, there are 4 basic types: through ball, ground pass, lobbed pass, and the cross. When playing online you will be using the first two the most, while utilizing the cross and lobbed passes for certain situations. The lobbed pass is mainly for switching field position and the cross is used when you are in the crossing zone and you have a mismatch in the box that favors your player. As for ground and through balls these are key. You use the ground passes to set up the through passes. The through passes are what get the great breakaways and easy goals. The first tip that I would like to present is the “send teammate on a run” button, which is the left bumper (Lb) button on the Xbox 360 controller. What this does is while you have the ball with a player you can send players being controlled by the computer to move up field to create passing opportunities and holes in the defense. Another tip to use while also using the Lb button is the one-two pass which is amazing for head to head matches. Once you possess the ball if you hold down the Lb button and pass to a close teammate once that player passes the ball they will immediately make a run into open space, which creates a great time to use the through ball using the (Y) button. This is probably the easiest and most efficient tactic to get easy chances on goal. Once you become more advanced the next pass is the lobbed through ball which is very effective when used properly.
The last thing for this post is THE SPRINT button. Most people as soon as they get the ball they hold onto the spring button to try and run by everyone. This is just not possible you have to use patience, so unless there is no one close to you or you know you can outrun the defender then just jog because your player will have better control of the ball and lose it less often.
